Examples of Entertaiment

Entertaiment is the ability to amuse or divert. It can have a lighthearted sense of fun and laughter or serious underpinning as in ceremony, celebration, religious festival, satire or even war. Entertainment is also highly flexible, capable of adaptation to any scale, ranging from a private single choice of pre-recorded entertainments to banquets adapted for two; from performances intended for thousands to those designed for global audiences. This flexibility has led to the familiar forms of entertainment, which can cross media and demonstrate a remarkable longevity. Click on a collocation to see more examples of entertaintment.
